Brothers from Darby, Florida and sons of David Bellamy of the Bellamy Brothers, Jesse and Noah have found a home for their music in Nashville, Tennessee, where they have lived since 2002. Their background includes country, blues rock, pop and Americana leanings.
“We were introduced to traditional country music by our grandmother, who brought us to Fan Fair in 1984 when it was at the Fairgrounds in Nashville,” says Noah. “We found other music we liked, and our dad and Uncle Howard introduced us to a variety of music they thought we would enjoy. Everything we have listened to over the years influences the music we make today.”
Jesse and Noah have released five previous albums, Nowhere Revisited in 2006, Landfall in 2010, Driven Back in 2012 and Brethern in 2015. An EP, Leave Love Alone, was released in 2024. The new album, “The Sunshine Shop,” releases the end of April. The first single “I Told A Lie,” written by Noah, was released January 30.
Prior singles include “Leave Love Alone,” “Crown Victoria,” “Too Much,” “Vision” and “You Could Have Had It All.” The single “This Town Was Built On Heartbreak Songs” received airplay on CMT and featured cameos by Tanya Tucker, T.G. Sheppard, Ronnie McDowell, Deborah Allen, and David and Howard Bellamy. The Country Music Association named them on their “Who To Watch” List in 2007.
Jesse and Noah have fans from all over the U.S. and around the world. “Our fans are a diverse group and they connect with those same elements that people who connect to roots music enjoy,” Noah says. “The country influence is always there, but we’re not always aiming at that. We look at our music as more about letting the influences come out when we are recording. The song kind of takes us where it wants to go.”
