Jesse and Noah will release their second single, “Loving This Night,” on February 27. It is from their upcoming album on Usonia Records, distributed by Select-O-Hits. The video for the single will be released on the same day.
“I wrote it because I wanted to write a song that you could hear the bands on Broadway in Nashville play,” says Noah. “It’s got a sound kind of like ‘Tennessee Whiskey’ or ‘Wagon Wheel,’ with that 90’s country feel to it.”
Jesse further explains, “It’s got the feel of a good summer song, like one Alabama would record.”
Noah agrees, “Yeah there’s a little bit of that too, like “Shaggin On The Boulevard” that they did in 1997.”
The single is on the duos upcoming album, The Sunshine Shop, scheduled for release in the spring of this year. Jesse and Noah wrpte eight of the songs that are on the album. Also featured on the album are two cover tunes, the classic Bob Seger song, “Shame on the Moon,” which was written by Nashville tunesmith Rodney Crowell. The second cover is “Me & Magdalena,” written by Ben Gibbard of Death Cab for Cutie. It was recorded by the Monkees on their final studio album in 2016. The album was recorded at Wildfeathers Studio in Hendersonville, Tennessee.
The single will be available on all audio channels, while the video can be viewed on all video sites. Fans can purchase the single where all digital music is sold and streamed.
