Song Inspired By The Simple Tradition Of Sharing Christmas With Family
It’s a tradition every family shares during the Christmas holidays – packing up the presents and heading home for Christmas. Jesse and Noah have captured the feeling of that tradition with their version of the
Chris Rhea song “Driving Home For Christmas.” The brothers say that it is one of the timeless songs that captures the feelings of anticipation of going back to be with the people and places that matter most to them.
Another song the singer/songwriters share for the holidays is “A Little Thing Called Christmas,” which was written by Noah. He says it started from a dream and ended up including some of the things that have become family traditions over the years such as decorating the house and favorite foods that are only served during the Christmas holidays.
“I wrote “A Little Thing Called Christmas” about all the Chevy Chase things people end up doing around the holidays,” Noah says. “There’s also a nod to when we were kids and one of the farmhands put the reindeer up backwards on our grandmother’s house.”
There are so many traditional Christmas favorites it’s hard to imagine finding a way to write a new holiday tune, but Jesse says it’s the way they do it makes it easy. “You don’t try to reinvent it — you just write from your own experience of Christmas and let that translate to other people’s experiences.
Jesse and Noah have something exciting to be celebrate in the New Year – they will be releasing a new album that fans are clamoring to hear.
“People have already been getting glimpses (from the album) on our socials, and singles will start rolling out with the start of 2026, culminating in the full album dropping in the summer,” Noah says.
Jesse hints that there will be surprises on the upcoming album. “Yeah, plenty of surprises — starting with the fact we finished it! There is new and old territory re-explored, guest stars and a couple of unique coverWe were able to take the time to really get the album to work as an ‘entire piece’ the way we’ve always wanted.”
